“A Walk Along the Streetcar Line”

We invite you to join us for our Annual Fall Walking Tour.  This year’s tour explores the route of the streetcar line through Mission Hills and the beautiful homes built along the route.  The docent-led walk will include details about Kate Sessions’ nursery that was adjacent to the rails, the development that was spurred by the streetcar line, and the builders and early residents of the area. The walk includes the historic district based on the final extension of the streetcar line.  While the rails are no longer there, a vintage streetcar that once ran the streets of San Diego will also be featured on the tour.

Tickets can be purchased on the on the day of the tour for:
$10 for MHH members and $15 for non-members
Checks and Cash only please.

Tours leave every 15 minutes beginning at 1:00 p.m.

(Tours will last approximately 60 to 90 minutes.)

Ticket table will open at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the tour at:
Corner of West Lewis Street and Palmetto Way.

End of tour refreshments will also be served.

Wear comfortable shoes as we will be walking!
