Mission Hills Heritage is pleased to announce its Fall Walking Tour on Saturday, September 25, 2010, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This year’s walking tour will explore the pending Annex to the Mission Hills Historic District, which includes the area between Sunset Boulevard, Witherby Street, Hickory and St. James, and blocks in between. The area includes homes of great historic interest, including ten homes currently historically designated, and many other homes with great stories. Architectural styles of homes on these blocks include Craftsman, Prairie, Tudor and Spanish Revival. Come and learn about the homes and people that have lived in this area, and the efforts of residents to form this pending historic district!
Guided tours depart every 15 minutes beginning at 1:00 p.m.* Ticket prices are $10 for MHH members and $15 for non-members. To reserve tickets in advance, please send your checks by September 18th to: Mission Hills Heritage, 325 W. Washington Street, Suite 2, #221, San Diego, CA 92103.
