We just got an update from the Vons PR people about the progress of the store, which is obvious to anyone driving by it, but I wanted to share with you, what we can expect inside the new Mission Hills Vons when it opens in Spring of 2012:
- Full Service Floral Department
- Expanded Produce Department along with Organic Produce items
- Expanded Frozen Food Sales
- Expanded Sales Area and New Full Customer Service Counter
- Expanded Check-stand area with Self Checkouts
- Full Service Meat and Seafood Sales
- Expanded Beer, Wine and Liquor Sales
- New Pharmacy with enclosed waiting area
- Expanded Dairy and New Full Service Deli Department
- New Full Service Bakery Department
- New Full Service Starbuck's with inside Seating
- New outside seating area for customers, as well as garage parking with multiple access points, elevators, escalators and cart movers.
