It's official! There will be a Farmers Market in Mission Hills, San Diego! It is scheduled to begin on June 25th and will run every Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. At least 20 farmers/vendors are already signed up and it will take place on Falcon St between Ft Stockton and Washington. It is an intiative of the Mission Hills Business Improvement District and will be run by a professional farmer's market manager. Some people may ask, why Friday? Well, most likely because there are Farmer's Markets in Ocean Beach on Wednesday, North Park on Thursday, Little Italy on Saturday, and Hillcrest on Sunday! I'm looking forward to being able to walk to our very own Farmer's Market and hope you all will too!
